It unites various regional, academic, and industrial stakeholders across the value chain, with goals to:\nPool resources in Occitanie for faster biotherapy development and increased economic gains.\nStrengthen regional bioproduction capabilities.\nUnify stakeholders for joint projects, improving project identification and distribution.\nBoost visibility in this growing sector and elevate regional expertise in France and globally.\nOccitanie Innovation Biotherapy is overseen by AD’OCC, the Region’s economic development agency, along with Eurobiomed, the competitiveness cluster, and industrial and academic representatives from the sector.\nRead more : https://www.agence-adocc.com/biotherapy-innovation-occitanie/ ( https://www.agence-adocc.com/biotherapy-innovation-occitanie/ )\nAbout CeBBOc\nIntroduced in 2020, the “DEFIS CLES” initiative supports top-quality research on critical issues while aiming to position the Occitanie Region as a frontrunner in future sectors. Additionally, it promotes the development of new skills and future professions. The primary objective is to unite efforts, encourage synergies, and leverage skills, technical expertise, and financial resources to accomplish shared objectives.\nIn 2022, biotherapy research is among the11 new “DEFIS CLES” backed by the Occitanie Region, securing a 2-million-euro regional grant for a 4-year action plan implementation.\nThe “DEFI CLE”CeBBOc (Cell Based Biotherapies Occitanie)aims to invigorate the regional scientific community by concentrating on cell therapies in various forms: native, amplified, modified, within 2D-3D organoid systems, or interacting with biomaterials. It seeks to bolster upstream and translational research, fostering the emergence of new sector technologies. These technologies will play a pivotal role in advancing current objectives across biomedicines, bioproduction, and organoid domains.\nRead more : https://www.inserm.fr/delegation/occitanie-pyrenees/ ( https://www.inserm.fr/delegation/occitanie-pyrenees/ )\nAD’OCC and sustainable mobility\nTo limit your ecological footprint, we invite you to opt for carpooling: a simple way of creating links!\nIf you’d like to find or offer to carpool, we’ve created a platform just for you:\n Carpooling ! \nAn event organized by\nOccitanie Innovation Biotherapy contacts :\nMarjorie MONLEAU – Health innovation officer – MONTPELLIER\nBérénice CHAILLOU – Health innovation officer – TOULOUSE\nCeBBOc contact :\nCamille MALAVAL – Project manager – MONTPELLIER\n
